About Us
Heather Kingsley-Heath is a textile and beadwork artist, who also teaches, writes books and magazine articles. She started with a degree in textiles and has worked in the craft and publishing industry for longer than she is prepared to reveal!
She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and is currently working on pieces for a new exhibition. At the same time she has a busy teaching schedule, both at Bath University and to groups and Guilds in the West country.
Heather is also the Editor of the Beadworkers Guild Journal, a quarterly magazine for Guild members.
Distance Learning programme for beading groups.
Due to my hectic schedule it's not always possible for me to travel to teach. Instead I have a simple scheme that is working really well with beading groups around the country.
A nominated tutor is given permission to teach a workshop for one day, with on line help from me to prepare for the class. Each group member purchases a worksheet (minimum 10 members), a great day is had by all for just £5.00 each plus your usual group fees.
I have several projects which are not available on the website for the group programme.
The programme is also suitable for tutors involved in charity fundraising, contact me to find out more at heatherworks@btinternet.com
